All you need to do with the oil is keep it in your mouth for about 15 to 20 minutes. Don’t swallow or gargle, but just swish the oil in your mouth. Then, spit it out and clean your mouth with warm water a few times. Follow the procedure every morning before brushing your teeth and when your stomach is still empty.

3. Baking Soda

Use ¼ teaspoon of baking soda with a small amount of water to prepare a thick paste. Apply it on your gums for about two minutes and then wash it off with warm water. It’s just enough to follow the treatment three times a week to reduce gingivitis.
The most powerful compound of turmeric is curcumin, which has amazing antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial qualities. Due to its wonderful properties it can alleviate pain or swelling of the gums. Additionally, it can reduce the accumulated plaque and kill the bacteria.
