When you decide to lose weight in a quick manner it is pertinent that you adhere to the following diet for seven days. It will help you lose weight rapidly, and might also make you want to switch to some healthier habits to keep that extra weight off for good.
7 Day Diet for Rapid Weight Loss
• Day One
This is the most important of your seven days to skinny and sets the tone for the rest of the week. On the first day of your diet you are to drink plenty of water (at least eight to twelve cups) and eat only fruit. On this crucial first day, you can eat any kind of fruit you want (except bananas) and as much of it as you need to.
You may want to start your day with a fruit salad, some grapefruit or an apple. There are countless possibilities of what kinds of fruits you can eat, but you must adhere to only eating fruits. Raw vegetables don’t even count. Day one is strictly fruit and involves the consumption of as much of it as you want.
• Day Two
Where day one was full of fruit, day two will be chocked full of veggies. They don’t need to necessarily be raw, although sliced peppers, carrots, and celery make for great raw options. If you choose to cook the vegetables you eat on day two, make sure you only boil them and stay away from any cooking oils whatsoever.
Your system will begin clearing out at this point on day two, and you may find that you have to make more trips to the bathroom than you’re used to. This is all totally normal, and part of the process. Be sure to keep drinking eight to twelve cups of water during the length of the second day.
• Day Three
On the third day of your quick weight loss diet, you can consume both fruits and vegetables. Be sure to stay away from potatoes and bananas, and continue to drink plenty of water. You may want to start the morning off with some fresh fruit followed by some steamed veggies for lunch. Eat as much as you need to feel full, but remember to only eat fruits and veggies.
• Day Four
You’re halfway there! On day four you’re going to bring in the bananas, and a lot of them. You’ll eat eight to ten bananas on day four, and consume three glasses of milk right along with them. Don’t worry about getting too hungry, this combination will actually make you feel full by the end of the day.
• Day Five
Get ready to increase your water intake and introduce some solid food on day five. It is recommended to drink at least fifteen glasses of water. It is here you will also be filling up on tomatoes, and you even get to have a cup of rice. Six or seven tomatoes throughout the day are recommended, and taking your rice at lunch is highly beneficial. Make sure the rice is plain with no added butter or seasoning.
• Day Six
You’re almost there. On day six you will be taking a cup of rice again, and be drinking a lot of water. You will also be eating a lot of veggies this day, as many as you want in fact. It is on this sixth day that you’ll begin to feel a lot lighter, and probably even be noticing some results. You’re close. Stick to one cup of rice, steamed or raw vegetables, and water and you’ll go into day seven with everything you need to make your diet successful.
• Day Seven
You made it! This is the last day of your diet and one that is sure to please your pallet after following such a strict diet for the last six days. You’re still going to drink plenty of water, at least ten glasses. This day will also allow you to eat a cup of rice, all the veggies you can handle, and whatever fruit juice you choose.
